Local Community Service
The Rotary Club of Comox is a hands-on Club, using our expertise and skills to make a difference. Over the years the Rotary Club of Comox has contributed significantly to the Comox Marina Park, Brooklyn Creek Salmonoid Enhancement, Mack Laing Park, Comox Marina Walkway, the d’Esterre House Seniors Centre, and most recently the Comox Rotary Stage at Filberg.
Our Local Projects include;
- Rebuilding the stage in Filberg Park 2014
- RV’s for Homeless Project, 2011-2012
- Remodeling of D’Esterre House for Senior Citizens in Comox, 2010-2013
- Building the Comox Valley Marine Rescue Station, 2006-7
- Mountain Avian Rescue Society Aviary 2007
- Major Funding to establish Dawn To Dawn Action on Homelessness Society, 2006-08
- Anderton Therapeutic Gardens Bandstand & Washroom, 2002-2004
- Simms Millennium Park Walkway Bridge, 2000-2001
- Established École Highland Secondary School Bursary 1978
- Construction of D’Esterre House for Senior Citizens in Comox, 1975

International Service
We recently completed our 5 Villages Water Project that provides water to over 7500 hundred people in Honduras. Imagine not having water. We are currently looking at a water project that will help 8 communities in Honduras.
