The Comox Rotary Club has been a proud sponsor and builder of many community parks and features since their inception in 1974. They began by renovating what was dusty’s den in 1974 (which is now the Comox council chambers) and then served as the general contractor on the Comox Seniors Centre, or d’Esterre House.

Comox Rotary is at it again by imagining families enjoying countless wonderful summer days playing in a new splash park right at the Comox Marina. This idea is soon to become a reality with the impending revitalization of the marina. Several organizations are partnering to make this happen. Comox Rotary, other valley Rotary Clubs, The YPCV, Comox BIA and the Town of Comox have joined together to create the Rotary Marina Splash Park as part of the Comox Marina Park Enhancement Project.

The ‘splash park’ will create a wonderful place for young Comox families to play close to home in a unique ocean side setting. The ‘splash park’ will be a destination for other families in the Valley, add significantly to the vibrancy of the Park, and provide ample opportunity for locals and visitors alike to explore and experience all that the Comox eclectic retail and award winning restaurant district has to offer. You can help by making a donation today – and claiming a perk from a local business!

All the proceeds form this fundraiser will go toward creating the best and biggest splash park in the area as well as the marina enhancement. The goal is to truly create a wonderful family place to play. Let’s create an epic park together so that everyone in the valley can enjoy the amazing place we live in!
